Sarah & Mike – Atlantis Resort Nassau Bahamas Wedding Film – Same Day Edit (sort of)

Sarah & Mike brought Honey & Dear to the Bahamas to film their ‘weddings’. We say ‘weddings’ because they got legally married at City Hall in Toronto a few months ago. Then got married in an Egyptian Coptic Ceremony in Mississauga in mid September. Then, they made sure everything was permanent with a Greek Orthodox Ceremony in Nassau, Bahamas. We put this half engagement story/half same day edit together for these guys and shared it at their Atlantis Resort Reception. We are excited to share our first Destination Wedding Video of 2013:

Did we mention how amazingly cool their reception venue was? It was underneath and beside a giant aquarium filled with Stingrays and Sharks and Big Tuna (we thought of Andy Bernard often).

We had an incredible time spending five days with Sarah and Mike in the Bahamas. It was also great to be able to spend quality time with Michael and Marian who’s wedding we filmed in 2011. Marian, we’ll watch trashy TV with you anytime!

Huge shout out to Joee Wong and the talented Heidi Lau who did an incredible job on Photography. Thanks for keeping us company including fruit bowling in the Hotel and nearly getting arrested with us by the Bahamian Navy. We managed to spend a day together on the water and rode on jet-skis for a few minutes before getting shut down by the law (because the swells were getting too big!)

We had some fun on the water, but when it came time to shoot the wedding, Joee brought the goods and I know for a fact Sarah & Mike will be happy with their wedding photos. We love working with Mr. Wong because he is a talented artist, but he is also equally passionate about supporting us as we make our films. It’s a team-effort that goes a lot farther than you might think.

Thank you Sarah and Mike for having us. We had an incredible time and If you have any more ceremonies you want filmed, we’ll be there 🙂
